4. took a walk
5. watched half of Project Runway
6. got a sunburn
7. ordered french toast in a cheesy diner
8. surfed the web
9. thought about decorating ideas for Ava's room
10. got a hug from Ryan

One thing I should have done today but didn't:
1. take a picture

back to school

I always liked the first day of school when I was a kid. I remember not being able to sleep the night before or waking up really early because I was so excited. One of my favorite things about going back to school was getting to pick a new outfit for the first day (and taking the obligatory photo in said outfit on the porch before we left home). Were I fortunate enough to be going back to school this year, this is what I would buy:
