It seems overnight the heat became unbearable.  I can't fathom why I was wearing a cardigan in the evenings just a week ago.  Nothing short of being underwater is comfortable in the afternoons...so that's what we do.

We took a little walk through the woods last Sunday.
This is what it looked like.

We have had a multitude of fabulous shoes hitting the shop recently, with many more lovely pairs to come. I had these boots lined up on my dresser awaiting action, and they looked so sweet sitting there together, I had to take a photo. Watch for the tan pair on the left and the tall black pair to make their way into Goodwiu Vintage sometime this week.

Also, if you wear a size six, JJ just listed the most incredible pair of shoes I've ever seen...

What's this? Two produce posts in a row? What is this blog coming to?

I don't know. What I do know is this: I have in my possession the most perfect little bundle of carrots ever before seen. It's just like the carrots bunnies use in their kitchens. Yes...actual bunnies. Okay, actual bunnies I made up in my head...but still. Cute, right?

Anyway, I apologize. I intend to cease posting about all food related topics effective immediately until further notice (or the mood strikes). I know you have a lot of choices when it comes to blog browsing, and I'm humbled that you have chosen this one.  (Except you mom - you have to read).  A bevy of very interesting and inspiring posts coming up soon!  I won't let you down again.

As it turns out, postal workers don't actually care for photo taking. I've received news of three (out of the seven that I sent) full rolls of film being delivered to three addressees. I blame David Horvitz completely.  

Since my spirits have been deflated by this disappointing news I'm leaving it up to you (Megan, Julie, Grace, Danielle, Rachel, Nathan and Nik) to do something good with those cameras. Let me know what you come up with.

i want it all

Whilst perusing around etsy this morning, I came across the most delightful little shop. There's not an item there that I don't want to own, and it all seems quite reasonably priced (bonus!). The bracelets are my favorite. 
If you are having or already have a baby, why oh why have you not purchased these already?

c) one of a series of zany photographic follies employing the use of a rather (obviously) bright flash which R received in the mail a few days ago as part of a late birthday present from his family.
