I know I'm kind of stating the obvious here, but some things don't get mentioned enough. The backwards knees and pink feathers are only the the beginning...look at their beady eyes, giant downturned beaks, and impossibly curvy necks. If I'm being perfectly honest, I find them a little bit frightening.
Another thing that is funny - When I asked Ava if she would like to see the orangutans she said no, she just wanted to see the "lizards and skinks." I wasn't aware she knew what a skink was.

I do not pretend to know why you continue to torture me with posts involving birds.
Technically speaking she did not need to include Skinks since they are lizards.
Sorry about the birds...I meant to add an advance apology to the post, but forgot.
As to the skinks...yes, all skinks are lizards, but all lizards are not skinks. I prefer to think she knows the difference and merely meant to say she wanted to see both skinks and other types of lizards. Are you with me on this? Yes? Good.
Of course the two are not mutually exclusive.
I am pretty pleased with what is happening here. I had no idea my two friends were such lizard experts.
