Gettysburg is one of the best places I have ever been. They've got it all - museums, monuments and malts. Also, we saw some very good antique shops and now I am able to tell the difference between a genuine Civil War era canon and a replica.
p.s. The title is for R who thinks it's very funny.

Very cool pics. I went there a while back and just loved it-but no one tipped me off about the delicious malt....guess I have to go back.

I just saw an interesting tv show about the equestrian statues at Gettysburg--stuff like Robert E. Lee's horse was so well known that the artist had to make sure the horse in the statue was an accurate likeness. Maybe you noticed.
