birds of a feather

Here's this print I made today. I'm showing you because it was a resolution of mine but also (mostly) because someone dared me.

Thats cool! I just went and reread your resolutions and I think you met several of them with this... live, make and photograph!

Oh my word, that is absolutely stunning! How long did that take you? I really want to get into screen printing but laziness continually rears its ugly head.

Thanks for all the really nice comments. I'll definitely be more keen on showing the projects I'm working on in the future now!

it's okay to sweat: I want to say it took around 2 hours. I watched Fargo and a little bit of one episode of Project Runway before it was finished.

Also, you should start screen printing! I used to have a screen print set, but my brother sort of starting using it and then eventually decided that it was his.

hearblack.: me too, friend. me too.

Okay I was a little behind on your posts, but now I am all caught up. Amazing job on the prints. I didn't dare you to, just a little suggestion in a rond about smart ass kind of way, but only because I care. Again they look great. What type of ink did you use? Just regular stamp ink? Pip pip, and all that good stuff.

No, no. Someone else dared me to show some of my own artwork so I wasn't talking about you. You are the one that made me think to actually use those lino blocks though. Anyway, thank you.

This is really dumb, but I just happened to have a paint roller with some white wall paint on it from when we painted our kitchen cabinets. I just used that.

Okay, I've found my new favorite crafter/blog...

Interesting that the paint worked out. I wouldn't have thought its would come out so clean. Now as for your screen print set I know its yours. You just kind of left it so I adopted it so it would have a nice home. If you'd like it back I can send it to you. Anyway hope you are having fun in spain.

Ps did you ever get my cat in the hat text?

I got it in Rome.
