Today is the first I have heard of this. How are you holding up? I decided maybe you would like a nice hospital joke I found on the internet. Oh snap! It's a doozie!
A man was wheeling himself frantically down the hall of the hospital in his wheelchair, just before his operation. The head nurse stopped him and asked, “What’s the matter?” He said, “I heard the nurse say, ‘It’s a very simple operation, don’t worry, I’m sure it will be all right.’” The head nurse said, “She was just trying to comfort you. What’s so frightening about that?” The patient said, “She wasn’t talking to me. She was talking to my surgeon!”
If you need anything let me know. I know I'm about ready to pop, but you can still drop Ava off to play for a couple hours while you hang around the hospital.
Oh Carrie! What a bummer for Ryan. Those pancreases do tend to be a little fickle... I hope he is starting to get better, but it it a long road! Please keep us updated and tell Ryan good luck!
