goodwiu goodbye

Due in large part to the unknowns associated with my upcoming move (to the Philippines!!) and general burnt-outedness, Goodwiu Vintage has decided to close its doors. It's been three fantastic years, and I can't say thank you enough to all those who've purchased from us in the past.

As a little last thank you, we're saying so long with a big ol' sale. Everything in the shop is now NAME YOUR OWN PRICE!! So head on over and...seriously...just name it.

wha! no way. well, happy times in adventureland. i know how hard it can be to upkeep an etsy store - which is why i haven't uploaded anything new in months. . . i always wondered how you had the energy for it.

oh my gosh, last thing i expected?!! i hope you are still keeping up your blog though? i find your posts hilarious and charming and inspiring and i love the stuff you wear. and how fascinating is it going to be to see how life goes in the dang phillipines! what?!! so crazy. my grandfather was born there, along with four of his brothers. the woman at the top of my blog is my greatgrandmother at their home (hacienda?) in the phillipines. i used to write short stories imagining their lives there (my first blog posts) anyway i'm going to miss your shop and the dress i got is my favorite thing i've ever purchased! good luck with everything, you're amazing.
