home sweet hawaii

Ye olde homestead is looking rather sparse these days. I've managed to sell or donate the majority of our belongings, and now I'm kind of starting to miss them. I have a tendency to get very attached to things, so I guess it's a good practice in self control to let them go occasionally. All the same, I can't wait to finish up and get out of here so I can start putting together a new home.

Oh, and it would be really nice to see my husband again too. Yeah...that would be great.
p.s. There's a silver lining to all this dreadful sorting. This very evening, whilst going through the cupboards, I found a rather large long forgotten bag of m&m's. Oh my, how those have come in handy!

beautiful photos...especially love the frame with the heart in it, hanging from the sad looking pig head. Hope you see your husband soon

I think you've gotten the wrong idea about Nigel. He's a very cheerful pig ('s head) if ever there was one!

Thank you for commenting on my blog, Caroline! I recognize you from Wardrobe Remix and I think I've favorited a few of your outfits (or more) along the way. Great to see your blog - I've added it to my reader.

And good luck with all of these moving tasks - no small feat.

Such lovely home shots, I'd imagine it would be quite difficult to give up so many lovingly collected things, but also really exciting to start fresh, can't wait to come along for the ride :)

I don't think I could ever forget about a bag of m&m's, but what a treat to find!
