wa'ahila ridge trail

We tried out this trail with some friends over the weekend. There were some really nice views of Manoa and Palolo Valleys and clear into downtown from the top. If you know where we live (and have super magnification powers), you may even be able to pick out our building from those in the last photo. Cool beans!

wow, how the babe has grown since I first starting reading the blog! My niece turned 7 this week, I'm more than freaking out. I don't think she'll ever be older than 5 in my eyes.

Hey does the name "palolo" have any particular significance, as in what does it mean? In Samoa, "palolo" is some kind of seafood spawn thingy...and everyone goes out in the middle of the night to catch it at certain (or one) times of the year. Anyhoo....
